Each scale contains the hardware to accommodate the options and accessories customers demand. Three RS-232 ports allow connection to peripherals such as bar code laser or pen scanners, Zebra bar code printers, ticket or tape printers, and PCs. Forklift and Lift Truck Scales from SI Allegany Technologies

The Tuffer DL loader and forklift scale provides a quick and convenient weight approximation of the load lifted. A pressure sensor serves as a transducer, which measures the amount of pressure (psi) in the hydraulic line. The pressure is converted into an analog output voltage, proportional to the load lifted, and is then converted into a digital signal which is interpreted by the Mega-8 Meter mounted in the cab.

Allegany Technology’s carriage mounted Lift Truck Scale provides a quick check and tally of shipments. Two strain gage load cells serves as a transducer, that converts the output, proportional to the load lifted, into a digital signal that is transferred and displayed on a cab mounted.

The 1700HE offers precision-machined, weldless construction to maximize pressure washdown cleaning effectiveness. This design, coupled with integral jacking/shipping bolts, eases installation and minimizes maintenance costs.
